This Booking and Cancellation Policy applies to tours, private transportation, sightseeing excursions, beach activities, cruise-port services, and other experiences booked directly with Bahamas Unique Tours. By making a reservation or submitting payment, the lead guest accepts this policy on behalf of all participants included in the booking.
All reservations are subject to availability. A reservation is not confirmed until Bahamas Unique Tours has received the required deposit or full payment and has issued a booking confirmation.
Guests must provide accurate information, including:
Guests are responsible for reviewing their confirmation and reporting any errors as soon as possible.
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation, vehicle, guide, and other resources required for the service.
The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the scheduled tour or service date, unless different payment terms appear on the booking confirmation.
Reservations made within 14 days of the service date may require full payment at the time of booking.
If the final balance is not received by the stated due date, Bahamas Unique Tours may treat the reservation as cancelled. The initial deposit will remain non-refundable.
Available payment methods will be confirmed when the reservation is made. Guests are responsible for any bank, transfer, currency-conversion, or payment-processing charges associated with their payment.
All prices are quoted in the currency displayed on the invoice or booking confirmation.
Cancellation requests must be submitted by telephone or in writing and must be acknowledged by Bahamas Unique Tours.
Unless different terms are stated on the booking confirmation, the following conditions apply:
Approved refunds will be returned, where practicable, through the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the guest’s bank or payment provider.
Private-tour prices may be based on the confirmed number of passengers and the vehicle, guide, equipment, and operational resources reserved for the group.
A reduction in passenger numbers within 14 days of the tour will not reduce the confirmed private-tour price. Requests to add passengers are subject to availability, vehicle capacity, safety limits, and additional charges.
The lead guest is responsible for ensuring that the number of participants does not exceed the number confirmed in the reservation.
Requests to change the tour date, pickup time, itinerary, pickup location, or number of passengers are subject to availability and approval.
Changes requested more than 14 days before the service will be accommodated where reasonably possible. Price differences and non-recoverable third-party expenses may apply.
Changes requested within 14 days are not guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation and new reservation.
Cruise passengers must provide the correct ship name, scheduled arrival time, and departure time.
Bahamas Unique Tours will make reasonable efforts to monitor the ship’s arrival and adjust the pickup time when a confirmed cruise ship arrives late.
A complimentary delay window of up to two hours may be provided for late docking or delays caused by local customs and port clearance. Unless otherwise agreed, pickup will normally be adjusted to approximately 30 minutes after passengers are permitted to leave the ship.
Bahamas Unique Tours will make reasonable operational efforts to provide the complete itinerary. However, the itinerary or duration may need to be adjusted when necessary to return guests to the cruise port safely and before the ship’s final boarding time.
If the ship is delayed by more than three hours and the tour can no longer be reasonably operated, Bahamas Unique Tours may offer:
Guests must remain contactable and follow the updated pickup instructions provided by Bahamas Unique Tours.
Guests should notify Bahamas Unique Tours immediately if their cruise ship cancels its Nassau port call or changes its itinerary.
Any refund, rescheduling, or credit will depend on when notice is received and whether vehicles, guides, tickets, vendors, or other resources have already been committed. Supporting documentation from the cruise line may be required.
Tours normally operate during passing rain or typical island showers. Weather conditions can change quickly, and rain alone does not automatically qualify a booking for cancellation or a refund.
Guests should not assume that a tour is cancelled unless Bahamas Unique Tours directly confirms the cancellation.
If Bahamas Unique Tours determines that conditions are unsafe, including severe tropical weather, official marine restrictions, port closures, or instructions from relevant authorities, the company may:
If Bahamas Unique Tours cancels the entire service because it cannot be operated safely and no acceptable alternative or rescheduled date is provided, the guest will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service.
Bahamas Unique Tours may change vehicles, guides, routes, stops, departure times, or itinerary order when reasonably necessary because of weather, traffic, road closures, attraction availability, safety concerns, mechanical issues, or circumstances outside the company’s control.
If Bahamas Unique Tours cancels a service for operational reasons and cannot provide a suitable alternative, guests will be offered a rescheduled date, credit, or refund.
Guests must be ready at the confirmed pickup point at the stated time. Guests who expect to be late must contact Bahamas Unique Tours immediately at +1 242-803-5299.
The operator is not required to extend the tour or delay other scheduled services because a guest arrives late. A late arrival may result in a shortened experience without a price reduction.
Failure to appear at the confirmed place and time without notice will be treated as a no-show and will not qualify for a refund.
Unless expressly included in the booking confirmation, entrance fees, meals, drinks, gratuities, equipment rentals, activity charges, and purchases from third-party providers may not be included in the tour price.
Third-party tickets, admissions, and services may be subject to separate cancellation rules. Non-refundable third-party charges may be deducted from any otherwise applicable refund.
Guests must follow all reasonable safety instructions given by guides, drivers, boat operators, attraction staff, and local authorities.
Guests must disclose any condition that could affect their ability to participate safely. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children throughout the service.
Bahamas Unique Tours may refuse or discontinue service to anyone whose conduct is unsafe, abusive, unlawful, disruptive, or likely to endanger other participants or staff. No refund will be provided when service is refused or ended for such conduct.
Guests are responsible for their luggage, valuables, identification, mobile phones, and other personal belongings. Bahamas Unique Tours is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, damaged, or left in a vehicle or at a tour location, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Guests are encouraged to purchase suitable travel insurance covering illness, flight or cruise disruption, severe weather, medical emergencies, and other unexpected circumstances.
Personal illness, missed transportation, documentation problems, and changes to individual travel plans remain subject to the standard guest cancellation terms.
