Grey Cliff tour

3 Hours

Overview

Graycliff is a historic 18th-century mansion turned into a luxury boutique hotel and cultural hotspot in Nassau. It offers visitors a mix of history, fine dining, artisanal crafts, and indulgent experiences all in one place.

1. The Cigar Factory

Located inside the Graycliff property, the Graycliff Cigar Company is known for producing premium, hand-rolled cigars.
Visitors can watch master cigar rollers work in real time, following traditional techniques.
The process covers leaf selection, rolling, pressing, and aging.
After the tour, you can sample a cigar in the comfortable cigar lounge, often paired with rum, whiskey, or port.
Even non-smokers enjoy seeing the craftsmanship and learning the history of cigar-making in the Bahamas.

2. The Chocolate Factory

Graycliff Chocolatier is the first bean-to-bar chocolate factory in the Bahamas.
On the tour, you’ll learn the entire process—from roasting cocoa beans to tempering chocolate.
Guests can make their own chocolate bars or truffles with different fillings and toppings.
There’s also a Chocolate & Spirits Tasting option, pairing chocolates with rum, whiskey, or port for a rich flavor experience.
Perfect for both kids (hands-on chocolate making) and adults (tastings and pairings).

3. Wine Tasting & Cellar Tour

Graycliff’s wine cellar is one of the largest private collections in the world, with over 250,000 bottles.
The cellar holds rare vintages from all over the globe, including bottles worth thousands of dollars.
On the tour, you’ll explore the cellar’s atmospheric stone corridors and learn about wine storage and selection.
Guests can enjoy guided wine tastings, often paired with cheese or fine chocolates.
A must-do for wine lovers and anyone curious about luxury wine culture.
